How to complete School Bus ELDT
- Confirm that this is the correct CDL class or endorsement for your goal.
- Enroll and complete each online theory lesson.
- Pass the required theory assessment.
- Follow the completion and Training Provider Registry reporting instructions provided with your course.
- Complete required school-bus behind-the-wheel training with an eligible provider and satisfy applicable State testing requirements.
Theory training and behind-the-wheel training are different
School Bus endorsement ELDT includes theory and applicable behind-the-wheel training. ELDT1 provides the online theory course; practical training must be arranged separately with an eligible provider.
